Barcelona Photo Workshop offers you a wide range of possibilities to develop your photographic skills.
During our workshops you will not only learn about shooting but also be stimulated in experimenting, comparing, and seeing things from a different standpoint.
Barcelona Photo Workshop is focused on being able to communicate with images; technique, though being a fundamental issue, is considered only as an instrument. Photographic rudiments can eventually be learned from books, but this is not the case when talking about the capability of seeing things in a photographic way.
The workshops we propose last one intensive weekend and they are all personally held by Axel Cipollini in Barcelona.

PHOTOGRAPHY: INSTINCT AND CREATIVITY
During this workshop you will learn how to shoot pictures that are able to give emotions.
How many times you've been disappointed by the result of your pictures? And you've been blaming it on the equipment? What makes a picture an amazing one? You will learn how to understand what you want and how to get it.
The keyword is simplicity. Release yourself from the cage of rational thought and learn to see the world around you.
Thinking about exposition and depth of field makes us often forget about things which are far more important...
A creative workshop that also offers a complete range of fundamental technical basis.
The subjects: Re-learning to see, expressing your emotions, using your instinct. Zen and photography. Stimulating creativity. Shooting with your body. Choice and using of the camera. Clever use of automatisms. Understanding limits and advantages of your own camera, no matter what it is, and using them for your own benefit. Fundamental basis of composition. Elements of digital photopraphy. Duration: 12 hours split in two days (Saturday and Sunday), 4 hours of practice, shooting around in Barcelona, are included.
Timing: Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m. until 1p.m. and from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m.

PORTRAIT AND NUDE
A practical workshop that will teach you how to manage studio lights and how to approach the relationship with the model.
Two photo shootings of 3 hours each to practice portrait and nude shooting with one/two models are included.
The number of participants is limited to 8 people maximum, only so as to allow everyone to shoot and interact with the model.
The subjects: Composition and shooting techniques related to portrait and figure photography, both in studio and outdoor. Natural and artificial light (strobe and continuous light). How to set up a studio at reasonable costs. Portrait and nude set shootings. Psychology, the relation with the model. Legal aspects.
Duration: 12 hours split in two days (Saturday and Sunday)
Timing: Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m. until 1p.m. and from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m.
